Choreographer's note: Perhaps modern music's claim of cold abstraction is exaggerated? Morton Feldman's music, for example, has always seemed to me full of intense emotions. It was easy, then, to find inspiration in it for a very intimate solo (or rather: solo-with-accompaniment - two dancers in the background contribute to the feeling) of Feldmanesque flavor.
