Choreographer's Note: Viduity is a ballet about loss. It has been my aim to create a serene and meditative space, which invokes a sense of quiet mourning. Though the title refers to the loss of a spouse, all of us have lost something or someone that brings into question the choices we have made in our lives. It is that questioning which I imagine going on inside the four dancers of Viduity.
