FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW CHAMBER BALLET TO PERFORM AT DRA'S REMEMBER PROJECT TEN ON DECEMBER 4TH, 2004

AFTERNOON APPEARANCE WILL BE NCB'S FIRST TIME PARTICIPATION IN AIDS BENEFIT GROUP PERFORMANCE.

11/18/04 - New York, New York – The New Chamber Ballet will perform an excerpt of Miro Magloire's ballet Trio Op.6 at the remember project ten, a benefit performance for Dancers Responding to AIDS on Saturday, December 4th, 2004, at St Mark's Church, 131 East 10th Street at 2nd Avenue in New York City. The performance will last from 12 noon to midnight, with the new Chamber Ballet scheduled to appear between 4 and 6pm. Tickets are $30 for any 2-hour performance block, or $50 for an all-day pass. Reservations and information are available at (212) 840-0770.

First Time – The appearance is the New Chamber Ballet's first time participation in this yearly event, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. The remember project was originated in 1994 as a way to pay tribute to the lives lost and to those living with HIV/AIDS. It has become one of the most anticipated events of the New York City dance calendar, with participation by internationally renowned artists side by side with smaller groups. All funds raised through this event go to Dancer's Responding to AIDS, a fundraising program of Broadway Cares/Equity fights AIDS, which distributes them to more than 400 AIDS service organisations across the U.S, including many specially geared towards the dance community.
